I recently had Babylon Pest Control treat my home and honestly couldn't be happier with the service. From start to finish, the communication was clear with Robin, professional, and super easy. The team arrived on time, explained everything in detail, and made the whole process stress-free. The results were amazing — they went above and beyond and you can tell they genuinely care about doing a proper job, not just rushing through it. Highly recommend Babylon Pest Control to anyone looking for reliable, honest and high-quality service. Five stars on everything.

Local pest control
Pest control for Hillside homes and businesses.
Hillside was split from Sydenham in 1998 and grew quickly through the 2000s. The Melton Highway divides the suburb, with the Banchory Grove conservation reserve, a creek-side linear reserve and the recreation reserve among its open spaces. Those reserves and the now-established gardens around homes give ants, spiders and rodents plenty of shelter close to the house.
We look after family homes, rentals and local businesses across Hillside, on both sides of the Melton Highway. Every visit starts with finding where the pests are coming from, so the treatment suits your property, not just the activity you can see.

View All Services
Ant Treatment
Mature garden beds, paved courtyards and slab edges give ants easy places to nest. Black house ants trail inside in warmer weather, and coastal brown ants push soil up between pavers and along paths.
Spider Treatment
Streets near the Banchory Grove reserve, the creek parkland and the suburb's smaller reserves can see more insects at night, and the spiders that feed on them. Expect webs around eaves, window frames, fences and garden sheds.
Rats and Mice Treatment
Sheds, woodpiles and dense shrubs give rats and mice shelter, and cooler weather pushes them towards roof spaces, wall cavities and garages. We look for how they're getting in, as well as the signs of activity inside.
Cockroach Treatment
Kitchens, laundries and the gaps behind appliances give cockroaches warmth and shelter indoors, while larger cockroaches live in mulch, garden beds and drains and can wander inside as the weather warms.
Possum Removal
Trees that have grown up since the estates were built give brushtail possums an easy path onto roofs. A cracked tile, a gap at the eaves or a loose fascia board is enough for a den.
